Transparency is essential to good governance, which is one of the many reasons that

understanding the nuances of the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act is so important.

Using a “Jeopardy” format, this session will focus on the application of the law and lead to

discussion about how municipalities are working to ensure compliance while balancing

transparency and the reality of governmental operations.
